Was born on September 20, 1968 in Saratov.
Graduated from the Moscow State Technological University "STANKIN" with a degree in Computer-aided Design Systems with the qualification of "Systems Engineer".
In 1989 he founded one of the first computer graphics studios in the country "Informatics Marketing Service".
In 1993, he co-founded Media Arts, one of the largest communication holdings in Russia, which he managed for 12 years.
2005-2007 - General Director of the Sochi-2014 Bid Committee.
2007–2014 - President of the Organizing Committee of the XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi.
2014–2020 - President and Chairman of the Board of the Kontinental Hockey League.
2015–2020 - CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Gazprom-Media Holding.
On January 21, 2020, by presidential decree, he was appointed Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.
He is married and has two daughters.
