From October 2021 to the present. time – Advisor to the President of the Rosatom Fuel Company TVEL; from March 2022 to the present. Vremya is the Executive Director of the Association for the Development of Additive Technologies.
In 1988, she joined the Federal State Unitary Enterprise «All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Materials» (VIAM) SSC RF for the position of engineer.
1998 – 2008 worked at FSUE MMPP Salyut as Chief Metallurgist − Deputy Chief Engineer. In 2001, based on the results of scientific and production activities at VIAM and MMPP Salyut, she defended her PhD thesis on the topic «Model compositions based on synthetic materials for casting castings of GTD parts».
Since 2008, O.G. Ospennikova has resumed her research activities at VIAM. O.G. Ospennikova formalized the results of her scientific activity in the materials of her doctoral dissertation «Foundry heat-resistant nickel alloys of low density for polycrystalline and monocrystalline blades of promising GTE», which she successfully defended.
