Albert Efimov has been deeply involved in the development of information technology, as well as research in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence for more than 20 years. Albert’s area of focus is the coordination of research, scientific and innovation areas to achieve a long-term technological competitive advantage for Sber and ecosystem companies. Albert is also involved in interaction with universities and research centers on all Sber research programs. Member of the Academic Council of NUST MISIS. Member of the Russian Association of Artificial Intelligence.
Key achievements
• Creation of the Skolkovo Foundation’s first robotics center in Russia, which became the main center for the development of robotics in Russia. The result of his work was a significant increase in interest in the development of robotics among the population and a multiple increase in the number of start-ups in this area.
• Creation of the Robotics Laboratory at Sberbank, a leading center for research and innovation in the field of autonomous robotic systems.
• In 2002, he became a laureate of the Chevening scholarship program and received a Master in Communication Management from Strathclyde Graduate Business School (UK).
• In 2012, completed an internship in robotics at Imperial College of London.
• In 2014, he completed his postgraduate course at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the RAS, majoring in innovation management.
