Yury Dobrovolsky is a Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor. The head of several science and technology companies. He is a member of the Boards of Rosatom, SPbU and Sistema JSFC. Director of Aeronet, member of the international editorial board of the journals Electrochemistry and Electrochemical Energy. Main scientific interests: hydrogen energy, hydrogen production, electrochemistry and hydrogen-based power systems. Scientific supervisor at MSU, MIPT, SRSTU and SSU, author of 250 scientific publications and patents. In 2000 he received the title «Honored Worker of Education of Moscow Region», and in 2012 - Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation.
He is a leading specialist in the field of chemistry and electrochemical materials. Since 1995 he headed the laboratory at INCP RAS. In IPCF RAS he also completed his PhD theses. Y. Dobrovolsky is an organizer of many scientific conferences, a member of editorial boards of journals, and tutor at higher educational institutions. He has published many publications in scientific journals and monographs, as well as obtained many patents for new materials and technologies. Y. Dobrovolsky has contributed to the development of domestic batteries and fuel cells, as well as new technologies for gas sensors and fuel cells. He directs the NTI Competence Center «Technologies of New and Mobile Power Sources» at IPCF RAS. In 2022, Y. Dobrovolsky headed two assets of Sistema JSFC: Hydrogen Technology Center and Hydrogen Energy Center.
