Vladimir has been heading Sk Capital (formerly Skolkovo Ventures) since 2017. Since 2023, he has also been the Head of the Department of Technological Entrepreneurship at MIPT. He is a graduate of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) and the New Economic School (NES). Under Vladimir Sakovich’s leadership, Sk Capital became a leading investment platform - a partner of big business in the development of tech verticals.Today, Sk Capital continues to grow. For example, in February 2024, VEB.RF joined its share capital on a 50/50 basis with the Skolkovo Foundation. Thus, Sk Capital has become a key platform for private and institutional capital to work with entrepreneurs at all stages of business development in strategically important industries for Russia. Prior to joining Sk Capital, Vladimir Sakovich was Investment Director of the Venture Capital Department at VTB Capital, where he participated in more than fifteen venture capital deals in Russia and other countries, including syndicates with leading international VC&PE funds. A number of portfolio companies was brought to successful IPO (in particular, M&A and MBO in the Russian Federation and other countries, IPO on stock exchanges specializing in high-tech companies).
