Olga Karaeva has been heading the Innovation Center at LENTA since October 2019. She oversees internal entrepreneurship directions and works with startups. Olga has been involved in innovation in retail for over 14 years. Before joining LENTA, Olga led the Innovation Technology Center at Magnit, managed strategic projects and programs at X5 Group. Previously, Olga was the General Director of a company that designed and opened a unique store («Future Store») in partnership with X5 Group, RUSNANO, and Citronix. This project involved the implementation of RFID technology. She also led the project office and business analysis at the Adamas group. In addition, Olga has 5 years of experience in scientific research at the Academy of Sciences, Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, where she developed systems and mathematical models for information processing. She holds two higher education degrees in Automated Control Systems and Economics.
