Maxim Yeremenko, Vice President and Director of the Department for the Development of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Sberbank PJSC. Maxim Yeremenko graduated from the National Research Nuclear University «MEPhI» as a specialist in applied mathematics.

Since 2005, he has been working at Sberbank in various positions in the field of risk, data research and artificial intelligence. In 2021, he was appointed Vice President and Director of the Department for the Development of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Sberbank.

Maxim Eremenko leads and oversees the implementation of activities related to scientific research in AI, the development of SOTA models and algorithms based on machine learning and artificial intelligence methods, including the development of the Kandinsky model. Maxim leads the Bank’s AI transformation projects and projects to develop the artificial intelligence function in the country. Maxim’s team implements various educational activities related to the development of the internal and external AI community in the country, including the implementation of one of the largest international conferences on artificial intelligence AI Journey.
