Biography

President of the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, RAS academician.
Mr. Kuleshov made a significant contribution to the new research area — the development of models, methods, and technologies of data-based predictive modeling intended for natural sciences and industrial applications.
He developed basic principles for creating multidisciplinary models of complex technical objects; new mathematical models, methods, and algorithms for data processing and analysis based on cognitive technologies for solving applied tasks in computerized design systems in the conditions of indistinct entrance data and intercommunication.
Mr. Kuleshov pioneered models and methods in computerized design systems both in Russia and abroad; developed new mathematical methods and algorithms of stream management and routing, which have been successfully introduced in large-scale territorially distributed networks of data transmission; developed the architecture and system of data transmission protocols, which laid the foundation for data transmission networks.
He authored and co-authored more than 80 research papers, including 6 books.
Mr. Kuleshov has been awarded the Medal for Labor Merit, the Order of Honor and the French National Order of Merit.
